My car is recalled, is yours?

I wanted to make sure you’re aware of the massive recall of Takata airbags that was issued earlier this week. It involves so many cars, that there’s a good chance it could involve yours too. My car maker is on the list, so I’m reaching out to all of our current and former clients to let you know the steps to take to see if your car is also on the list, and what you can do to make sure you get your airbag replaced. The defective airbags can explode violently when deployed, sending shrapnel flying into the driver and passenger compartment. So far, nearly 34 million cars from manufacturers such as BMW, Chrysler, Ford, GM, Honda, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Subaru, and Toyota have been equipped with Takata air bags that need to be recalled. I wouldn’t be surprised if this list grows over the next weeks and months. The website I’m using to find out about my car and what to do is SafeCar.gov . You will need to have your VIN to see if yours is included, and you might want to keep checking back to that site as more information comes out about this massive recall. Our Facebook page, Twitter feed and website, mcdl.stagemywebsite.com, also have information and we will do our best to keep it updated with the very latest information as it becomes available. Although our office is investigating cases that involve injury or death related to these faulty airbags, the purpose of this email is just to let you know about what’s going on and ensure you have the information you need to check to see if you are impacted by this recall. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and for paying attention to this very serious issue. Very truly yours, David
