Last Wednesday, David McDivitt had the honor of attending Centennial Elementary School’s Kindergarten Promotion. Attending the ceremony was a wonderful reminder of how the law firm has gotten to see these kids grow this year.
Centennial Elementary is a Title I school, which McDivitt Law Firm has partnered with to provide school supplies to each incoming kindergartner class. This year we got to participate in some great events with the kids including a visit to the pumpkin patch, science night, a field trip to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, and field day.
It was bittersweet that this was our last time with this kindergarten class, but we are so excited for them to start their new journey as first graders and to meet the new kindergarten class this coming August.
On Wednesday, the kindergarteners sang some fun and cheerful songs to family, friends, and school supporters before being promoted. The McDivitt Law Firm was also presented with a plaque and school picture, reminding us of the school’s motto—Achievement Now. And these kindergartners achieved so much! David stated, “The ceremony was a great opportunity to recognize the students’ growth, and see how proud the parents are of each student.” Way to go to the kindergarten class of 2015-2016!
