Colorado Springs, CO (October 26, 2022) – On Wednesday, October 26, a crash occurred close to the junction of Interquest Parkway and Federal Boulevard.
Colorado Springs, Colorado’s police and fire departments (Colorado Springs PD and Colorado Springs CSFD, respectively) were sent to the incident.
At around 9:00 a.m., help from the CSFD arrived. After a thorough examination by EMTs, it was determined that the patients’ injuries were not life-threatening.
Authorities said individuals injured in the collision have been sent to local hospitals and started looking into what caused the incident.
The CSPD noted that they want to speak with anybody who may have seen the crash or knows more about what happened. The inquiry is still ongoing, but officials have promised updates as they become available.
Our hopes for a complete recovery go out to the injured victims at this time.
Car Accidents in Colorado Springs
Recent studies have shown that accidents involving semi-trucks and other large, heavy vehicles are one of the main causes of death and severe injury in the Centennial State. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, large commercial vehicles account for 18% of traffic-related fatalities and 33% of traffic-related injuries. Nearly a third of all traffic deaths in Colorado might be caused by trucks.
These incidents have a high fatality and serious injury rate; therefore, it’s important that all Colorado motorists be aware of this. We should not be surprised that motor vehicles account for a disproportionate share of unintentional injuries and fatalities in America. The most prevalent causes of mortality and serious injury in multi-vehicle accidents are traumatic brain injury and other organ damage. Thankfully, victims who’ve suffered in car accidents occurring through no fault of their own may have legal recourse in the aftermath.
