McDivitt Law Firm is proud to announce that Cindy Sabbagh, formerly our Vice President of Operations, has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer (COO). This promotion recognizes Cindy’s stellar contributions to personal injury and workers’ compensation cases as well as operations management.
After working at McDivitt Law Firm for 25 years, Sabbagh, a Colorado Springs resident, is excited to take on a larger role in the firm. “What has kept me here for so much of my career is the firm’s unwavering commitment to both our clients and our team. From the start, I’ve been surrounded by passionate, hardworking professionals who truly care about making a difference in people’s lives. On top of that, the McDivitts are deeply passionate about their community and dedicated to giving back to the communities we serve. It’s a place where innovation, collaboration, and client advocacy come first, and that’s something I’m proud to be a part of.”
Cindy Sabbagh's History with McDivitt Law
Since joining McDivitt in 2000, Sabbagh has served as a paralegal, Director of Operations, and most recently, the Vice President of Operations. Though she initially joined to assist with workers’ compensation cases, she quickly proved to be a skilled operations manager. Sabbagh ensured operational efficiency within the firm, streamlining processes and enhancing client services. Thanks to her efforts, the firm has steadily increased its caseload.
Having been promoted to the chief operating role, Sabbagh is eager to further improve the firm’s operational performance, “Now, as COO, I’m continuing to ensure our firm operates at the highest level, so our attorneys, paralegals, and case managers can dedicate their time and expertise to achieving
the best outcomes for our clients.”

Sabbagh's Journey to Chief Operating Officer
Like many of McDivitt’s team members, Sabbagh’s journey to the legal field is personal. She initially worked in the insurance industry. While working in that field, her father suffered a major injury at work. Instead of helping him find treatment, her father’s employer dismissed his concerns and sent him to doctors who minimized his injuries.
To make matters worse, the insurance company that should have helped her father refused to do so. “Watching my father struggle, not just physically but emotionally and financially, opened my eyes to the harsh realities many injured people face.” Said Sabbagh.
After witnessing the difficulty her father endured, Sabbagh realized it was time for a career change. She shifted her focus away from the insurance industry and began working on worker’s compensation cases at McDivitt Law Firm.
As a paralegal, Sabbagh gained real-world experience fighting for injured Coloradans. Every client who worked with Cindy noted that her care, compassion, and legal acumen were second to none. Mike McDivitt, the firm’s co-founder and current Chairman of the Board, even had this to say, “Cindy had a first-hand impact on the lives of clients, and she continues to bring that level of compassion and legal knowledge to the teams she oversees.”
As she has continued to oversee an increasing number of teams at McDivitt, Cindy has never lost sight of why she works at a personal injury law firm. “When a client walks through our doors, they’re often frustrated, in pain, and unsure of what’s next,” Sabbagh says. “Seeing the relief on their faces when we fight for them and win is what drives me every day.”
In her capacity as Chief Operating Officer, Cindy will continue helping McDivitt Law Firm grow in size and capability. She and the firm’s founding members believe that every new case is an opportunity to better someone’s life. The more efficiently the firm operates, the more lives can be improved.
Sabbagh is eager to keep working with “some of the most dedicated, compassionate professionals [she’s] ever met” at McDivitt Law.
