Thomas Hill concentrates his practice on helping others receive their Social Security Disability benefits. Before coming to McDivitt Law Firm, he was assistant regional counsel for the Social Security Administration Office of the General Counsel, Region 8 in Denver, Colorado. Mr. Hill has also worked as an assistant regional counsel for the Social Security Administration where he concentrated on disability litigation briefs. He advocated on behalf of decisions made by the Office of Administrative Law Judges regarding appeals that were sent to the U.S. District Courts for South Carolina, Utah, and Montana. In addition, he assisted the Regional Commissioner of Social Security by advising him about bankruptcy proceedings involving Social Security Disability program beneficiaries.

Mr. Hill developed continuing legal education courses for the Social Security Administration to benefit assistant U.S. attorneys. He also trained government attorneys regarding the presentation of oral arguments before U.S. District Courts and the U.S. Circuit Courts of Appeals in Social Security Disability matters.

Mr. Hill served as the office coordinator for the 2003 Combined Federal Campaign to raise money for charitable organizations for the Social Security Administration office in Denver.
