Neil E. Whitmer joined McDivitt Law Firm as an associate and he practices personal injury, auto accident, truck accident, motorcycle accident, product liability, premises liability, and wrongful death law. Mr. Whitmer came to McDivitt Law Firm with experience in criminal and civil matters as well as pursuing and defending personal injury claims and litigation. He also represented the Fremont County Department of Human Services and several Colorado cities before joining McDivitt Law Firm.
He has conducted many successful trials and hearings, and has strong skills in client relations and negotiation.
When Mr. Whitmer was in law school he showed a special affinity for court room representation of low-income clients in rental housing matters. He graduated from the Michigan State University College of Law and received the Michigan State University College of Law Merit Scholarship. Mr. Whitmer also has a Masters of Science in structural geology and plate tectonics from the University of Tennessee.
He is an active community volunteer and enjoys hiking, fishing, golf, botany, gardening, and beer and wine brewing.
