Kirk Whitehead is admitted to the Colorado Bar and earned his Juris Doctor from Sturm College of Law at the University of Denver. There he honed his proficiency in legal research and writing and served as staff editor and member of the Executive Board of the Denver University Law Review. In his second year of law school, he co-authored an article about international law that appeared in the Oxford University Press. He also studied law in Vienna, Austria, under Chief Justice John Roberts.

Before he joined McDivitt Law Firm, Mr. Whitehead counseled corporate clients for a petroleum land management company, where he worked directly with clients to resolve issues involving ownership of mineral rights. Through these experiences he has developed strong counseling and negotiation skills.

He also served as a judicial intern for the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas.

At McDivitt Law Firm, Mr. Whitehead concentrates on workers’ compensation law.
