The Denver Post reported that the Colorado Supreme Court approved a
workers’ compensation ballot posted by the United Food and Commercial
Workers Local 7 union.

Legal challenges were originally charged against the titles of the
Colorado workers’ compensation ballot. However, the court upheld that the titles, “Employee

on the November ballot if the union could retrieve 76,000 certified
signatures still needed for approval.

The Colorado workers’ compensation ballot would allow injured employees to sue
employers outside the workers’ compensation system.
